Hey! I’m Filippo, a 19-year-old photographer from Turin, Italy, who has been obsessively pointing the camera at random things for the past three years. It all started when I picked up the first real camera at 16, my old Nikon D40X; then (once I'd saved an heritage to be able to afford it) I moved on to a Sony α7 III, gaining experience with both DSLR and mirrorless cameras. What was supposed to be just a hobby, quickly started to be a life of late-night editing marathons, climbing on weird stuff for the shot, carrying way too much gear around and using my parents’ life savings for new lenses.
I mostly shoot street photography, nature and landscapes, but recently I’ve been improving my portrait skills; I’m always chasing compositions that combine powerful colours, storytelling and that cinematic look we all like. Lucky enough to live in the beautiful city of Turin, I often wander around in search of my next favourite shot; I can say that my city never fails to provide opportunities for great photos, and capturing them effectively is my key responsibility…
Still learning, still experimenting, and still asking myself why I thought photography would be a chill pursuit – don't get me wrong, I wouldn’t trade it for anything –, I always find new ways to improve my shots.
If you like what you see on here or if you want to collaborate, hit me up on Instagram or through emails, I don’t bite (unless you steal my SD cards).
I also started doing some video-making, but I’m still terrible at it, so I won’t count it as a serious activity...
